The book is a compilation of untranslatable contexts and their signifiers in the Russian language. Connecting holes reveal how each word influences all the other ones. Representing the historical trauma, these connections harm not only the corresponding word but an entire layer of 'independent,' positive, and nostalgic concepts. The production of these connections leaves its trace as scars on the cover. Although the book first presents itself as a coherent glossary system, it gradually unfolds into a complex maze of relations, dependencies, and pain.
